ODVE Club Rules
The rules below will make this board run more smoothly. Everyone needs to read this and make sure they understand it.

MISC RULES
No derogatory remarks, insults or generally talking bad about one of your fellow VE board members. This will not be tolerated and could lead to your being removed from the board. If there is a problem, come to me about it and let's try to work it out.
No adult sites. Must be family friendly.
We will not accept Max Pages or vote links for Little Dragon's Castle,Joust or any other competition that is NVE (non-VE). All voting links need to be able to go directly to the voting page
The board will run Monday through Thursday. We will take monthly one week breaks, the last week of the month, we will observe all Monday Federal Holidays and there will be a yearly summer break.
If you find something wrong with the way you were credited for voting or for finding a hidden page, please let us know this as soon as possible (within 24 hours). We will work with you to get this resolved.
Voting
If you are asking for one vote you MUST vote for everyone who has a #1 in return. If you are asking for two votes, you MUST vote for everyone asking for a #1 and #2 in return.. and so on. This goes for both main competitions and topsite voting.
When you say you voted, that does not mean ONLY for yourself. It means for every vote link to match your own that is listed.
Everyone must send in an I VOTED form before cut-off time at 10 p.m. EST. The board will close between 10:00 and 12:00 EST daily for updating. Any voting done during that time will not be counted.
There will be at least one HIDDEN PAGE a week and possibly 2 on both main competitions and topsite voting. Please make sure you fill out the form and send it in to get credit. If you miss a second hidden page in a week, you will be given a warning. After that, if you miss 2 in one week, you will be removed from membership.
LOA/UNABLE TO VOTE
If you need an LOA, there is a form to fill out letting us know how long you will be gone and when you plan on returning. An LOA needs to be taken also if you do not have any voting links for the week. You may take up to 6 weeks and then if you aren't back and we haven't heard from you, you will be removed from membership. You may always join again later, although you may have to be on the waiting list to join again. If the reason you are taking an LOA is because your comp is closed, you may still vote for topsites. This is the only exception to the LOA rule. You must still fill out an LOA form and let us know why you are taking it and that you will be voting topsites.
Please make sure to let us know if you are unable to vote for any reason. There is a form for pc problems or illness also. If you miss a day of voting and do not contact me, you will receive an icon for not voting and members will not have to vote for you the next day. If this happens 2 days in a row, your links will be removed until you contact us. If you do not vote 4 days and have not contacted us, you will be removed from membership. You may always join again later, but will be on a waiting list. If you do come back at a later date and this happens again, you will be banned from this VE Board.
UPDATES
Everyone will send in an udate form every week, even if the links stay the same. If the links stay the same, tell us that by putting SAME on the form. You will not have to fill in the form with the link in that case. If you do not send in an update for 2 weeks straight, you will be removed from membership of this board..
All updates MUST be in no later than Sunday at 3 p.m. EST. We will NOT accept anything after that time.
Make sure your links are correct when you fill out the form. We will be adding them to the board exactly as you have them on the form and will not make any changes after Sunday at 10 p.m. EST. It is up to you to give us the correct links. Updating for the new week will begin on Friday, so check the board and make sure your links are correct before cut-off time.
The owner has the right to make changes in the rules at any time or refuse any website from participating at CODVE.
